出品2作品は、乾漆(夾紵)により制作した。作者と人の生命の感悟、すなわち“我々はどこからきて、どこに向かっているのか?”という哲学的な考えからきている。天然漆を使用することにより、神秘的な東洋の造形材料からくる生命力が宿り、その精神が美の完成につながると考えている。つまり芸術と哲学の契合なのだ。

Kanshitsu technique was used for the two artworks on display. The works’ concept derives from the artist’s and people’s sudden awareness of life where you ask yourself the philosophical question “Where are we from, and Where are we going?” The use of natural urushi allows its mystic vividness that derives from Oriental materials that dwell in the artworks, which in turn complete their exquisiteness. It is an accord between art and p hilosophy.
