種子や花実、小さきもののやわらかな線に囲まれたかたちなどを目にすると、ついふと手を伸ばし、触れてみたい衝動にかられます。自らの中に潜んでいる「愛でるかたち」を現し、漆のやわらかな光りを放つ色に包むと、また新たな触れてみたい衝動へとつながります。

I feel an urge to reach out and touch small things like seeds, flowers and fruits, things formed with delicate linings. When I put into form the shapes I love and enclose them with urushi that casts delicate light, a new urge to touch would arises.
