絵を交えた大規模なインスタレーションを制作することで、瞑想的な空間を作り出している。自身のさまざまな経験を反映させて文化的に特有な象徴やシンボルを再構成し、漆の経験的な性質を示す馴染みがありながら特異で独特な空間を作り出す。記憶や思考を伝えるべく天然のベトナム漆の可能性に焦点を当てて研究し、それによって現代表現論を分析し、画期的かつ極めて実験的な手法や規模に挑戦している。

I construct large pictorial installations evoking meditative spaces. Drawing from the hybrid nature of my personal history, I reconfigure culturally specific signs and symbols to create familiar yet unusual and distinctive spaces that showcase the experiential qualities of lacquer. Focusing on the potential of natural Vietnamese lacquer to convey memory or reflection, I investigate lacquer as a way to examine current theories of the image and explore groundbreaking and highly experimental methods and scale.
